Vectura Application Server

Vectura Application Server (VAS) is a multi-protocol Service Delivery Platform (SDP) that can execute applications regardless of the networks of the lower layers. Its innovative creation takes to the maximum extent the concept of the existence of applications that are completely separate from the network infrastructure, able to provide the same services on fixed and mobile networks, using the support of protocols, such as SIP, SIP-I, CAMEL, INAP, and Diameter This way, Vectura Application Server behaves as an Application Server SIP for NGN and IMS networks and as a Service Control Point for GSM mobile and TDS fixed networks.

It supports third party applications, using JSR 289 or Parlay interfaces, or owned applications, developed using its graphical environment for service creation and tests.
Adherent to the latest trends of service-oriented architecture (SOA 2.0), Vectura Application Server uses XML-based interfaces, logically isolated service execution core, graphical environment for service creation and tests, independence of database technology and open interfaces for applications developed by third parties.

Its internal modules, with functions for the management of content, subscription, policies, services, terminals, authentication, authorization, and use records/logs generation, provide a unified infrastructure for any hosted services, which facilitates its integration with the operator’s OSSs and BSSs.
Its exposure layer allows third parties to access information and services by using Web Services interface, creating a competitive environment in order to offer new services to users.
